This week I went over to Toys R Us to get a couple of backpacks and lunch boxes.  When I opened the lunch boxes I was surprised and pleased to find coupons!  They range from toothbrushes and toothpaste to tortillas and yogurt.   Make sure you open up those lunch boxes and clip your bonus savings.
On specially marked Bounty Paper Towels there are coupons.  One of the coupons happens to be a $5 off one Align which is a hard to find coupon.

Staples Back to School Sale

This week the Staples back to school deals are pretty good.  Composition notebooks are $1 and Plastic 2 pocket folders are $0.99.  If you spend $5 then you get a pack of Bic pens for $0.01.  There is a limit of two bags per $5 spent so Make sure to split your checkout and cash on on those cheap pens!  Staples brand 4 pack glues sticks were also $1.  There was also a $5 off $30 coupon in the Sunday Paper on the Staples flyer.  This coupon is not available on the in store flyers so make sure to cut it out of the Sunday paper insert.

A new $5 off $50 coupon was sent out in the Red Plum insert that is delivered in the mail.  It is valid starting Friday at stop and Shop.

Samaha's Local Produce

It's summer and we are lucky enough to live in a town with a local farm.  Samaha's on Lloyd Rd near Line Rd has a great little neighborhood farmer's market setup.  They sell fruits and veggies they grow and also bring in from other farms.  The produce is fresh and priced to sell.  They take credit cards and cash.  Don't get caught buying sub par produce from supermarkets when you can get it fresh just down the road.  The best buy there of course is the fantastic corn!  I hope you check it out.  Leave a comment on what you thought of our quaint local produce market.

Shoprite Lloyd's Barbeque Products

This week at Shoprite Lloyd's Barbeque products are on sale.  $3.99 for pulled pork or $14.99 for ribs.  Shoprite has a $1 off one digital coupon available to add to your card.  There was a $1 off one coupon in last week's Sunday paper.  There is also a $1 off one printable coupon on coupons.com.   This makes your pulled pork $1.99 or your ribs $12.99.

Shoprite Luigi's Italian Ice

This week Shoprite has Luigi's Italian Ice on sale for $1.77.  In this week's Sunday insert there was a $0.75 off two coupon that will double to $1.50.  This makes your deal $2.04 or $1.02 per box.

Stop and Shop Skintimate Shaving Cream

This week Stop and Shop has Skintimate Shaving Cream on sale for $1.99.  In this week's Sunday paper there was a $0.75 off one coupon that will double to $1.50 making your shaving cream $0.49.

Recipe of the Week - Cereal Treats

Over the past two weeks there has been some really great cereal sales.  Traditional cereal treats are made out of rice krispies but using different kinds of cereal can be just as fun!  Here is the original recipe according to Kelloggs.

Cereal Treats

3 Tbs of Butter

1 10 ounce bag of Marshmallows

6 C cereal 

Microwave the butter and marshmallows for 1 minute and stir. Then microwave in 30 second intervals until all marshmallows are melted. 

Add in your favorite cereal add stir.  Don't be afraid to mix in more then one cereal for an even yummier snack.

Try using cookie cutters to mold them into shapes.

Cool them in the fridge for best results.

This week at Shoprite Rice Krispies are on sale for $1.99 along with Froot Loops.  There is a digital coupon at Shoprite for $2 off any two boxes of Kelloggs cereal.  Use this with a $1 off two boxes printable coupon from Kelloggs and you get two boxes for $1 or $0.50 a box.  Last week Kix and Trix cereal was on sale for $1.88.  There were digital coupons and paper coupons available for those as well.  Kix ended up being free with Shoprite paying you $0.38 and the Trix ended up being $0.38 a box.  Marshmallows are $1.50 a bag and butter was $1 last week or $2 this week with coupons.  Anyway you decide to do it these treats are fun for the kids to makes and eat for a low price.  Lets say $0.50 for a box of cereal (most likely less!), $0.25 for butter, and $1.50 for marshmallows makes it only $2.25 for a fun treat to make and eat!

A&P Sorrento Cheese Sticks

This week A&P has Sorrento cheese sticks buy one get one free.  There are $1 off one coupons from about a month ago.  Even though one of your cheese sticks are free you can still use two coupons, one for each package.  Unfortunately I don't know the starting price for the cheese sticks but if you have two coupons it will be an excellent deal for cheese sticks.

Stop and Shop Huggies Deal

This week Stop and Shop has a deal where if you buy $30 worth of Huggies you will get a $10 of your next order coupon.  There were $2 and $1.50 off Huggies diaper coupons in this week's Sunday insert.  There were also $0.50 off wipes and $0.75 off Pull up wipes.  There was a $2 off Pull ups coupon as well.  Mix and Match to get the best deal for your family.  Don't forget to make sure your coupon prints out at checkout.

Shoprite Kraft, P&G, Unilever, Tyson, General Mills group deal

This week Shoprite is having a group deal where if you buy $75 worth of Kraft, P&G, Unilever, General Mills and Tyson products then you get a $25 gift card for free.  This is such a huge selection of products that I can't navigate a best way to get your savings.  Just remember that you must reach $75 after you deduct your coupons.  Keep a running total while you are shopping and make sure to count those coupons so you hit $75.

Shoprite Goya Baked Beans

Shoprite has Goya Baked Beans for $0.69 a can.  There is a coupon in the Shoprite circular this week for $0.50 off one can.  This makes your beans only $0.19.

Shoprite Kelloggs Raisin Bran

This week Shoprite has Raisin Bran on sale for $1.99.  There is a printable coupon for $0.50 off one box at Kelloggs.  This coupon will double to make your box of Raisin Bran only $0.99.

Shoprite Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Cereal

This week Shoprite has Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Cereal on sale for $1.99.  There were $0.70 off one coupons available a few weeks ago but now there are $0.50 off one printable coupons available from Kelloggs.  Shoprite also has a $0.70 off one digital coupon available.  If you have a $0.50 off one coupon it will double to $1 and then add in the $0.70 digital coupon and your box of cereal will be $0.29.  Remember this will only work for one box of cereal.  If you are lucky enough to still have a $0.70 off one coupon then Shoprite will actually give you $0.11 towards the remainder of your groceries.

Shoprite Loreal Kids Shampoo - FREE

This week Shoprite has Loreal Kids Shampoo on sale for $1.99.  Two weeks ago there was a coupon for $0.75 off one.  This coupon will double to $1.50 making your shampoo $0.49.  If you buy two bottles of shampoo Shoprite will give you a $1 of your next order coupon.  If you use two $0.75 off one coupons and get the $1 off your next order your shampoo would be free!

Recipe of the Week - Strawberry Shortcake

School is at an end and temperatures are rising, this can only mean summer is here!  When I think of summer one of my first thoughts is Strawberry Shortcake.  In fact while I was shopping yesterday I picked up strawberries with this in mind.  Thanks to Williams Sonoma here is a quick and easy recipe for authentic shortcake to go with those yummy berries. 

Strawberry Shortcake

Strawberries, hulled and sliced

1-2 Tbs of Lemon Juice

5 Tbs Sugar

1 C Flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

4 Tbs Cold Butter

1.  Wash, hull and slice strawberries and place in a bowl.  Add 1-2 Tbs of lemon juice and 2 Tbs of sugar and stir until all berries are covered in lemon juice and sugar.  Set aside in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. 

2.  Pre-heat oven to 425 and get a cookie sheet ready.

3.  Mix together flour, 3 Tbs sugar, and baking powder.  Next cut in 4 Tbs of butter into the dough.  Using a food processor or mini prep or fork blend the butter and flour mixture until you get little pea sized crumbs.

4.  Using your hands mold the dough.  I use a round cookie cutter but you can always just eyeball it and make your own shapes with your hands. Make your shortcakes about a inch thick.  Place them on the cookie sheet.  Cook for 12 - 15 minutes.

5.  Once done let them cool for 10 minutes.  

6.  Pull your strawberries out of the refrigerator, they should now be macerated.  Cut your shortcake in half and place strawberries on top.  Then finish off with some whipped cream.

I love to make my own whipped cream but if you have cool whip or reddi whip on hand you might as well use it.  If you want to try and make the whipped cream here is what you will need.

Whipped Cream

1 C heavy cream

3-6 Tbs of sugar

1 tsp of vanilla

Using a whisk attachment or a hand mixer combine cream, sugar and vanilla in a bowl.  When adding your sugar use at least 3 Tbs but more if you want your whipped cream sweeter.  Mix our whisk on high until you have a thick whipped cream in your bowl.

I chose this recipe since strawberries are abundant this time of year and readily available.  I picked up some organic strawberries at Stop and Shop for $3.99.  Conventional were $2.99.  Land O Lakes Butter is on sale this week at A&P and with the coupons is only a $1 a box.  Everything else is a common pantry item.  Let's add up the cost $3.99 Strawberries, $0.25 butter used in recipe, $1 of pantry items, $0.50 lemon, if you needed to buy one.  This means your scrumptious dessert cost you $5.74 for a family of five or $1.14 per person.

This week A&P has Land O Lakes butter on sale buy one get one free.  There is $0.75 off one coupons from a few weeks ago.  Each coupon will double to $1.50 making your savings $3.  Since the butter cost $4.99 you will get both butters for $1.99 or $0.98 a butter.

A&P Colgate Kids toothbrushes

This week A&P has Colgate kid toothbrushes on sale for $1.99.  There is a $0.75 off one coupon from a couple weeks ago.  This will make your toothbrushes $1.24.  If you also use Colgate toothpaste there is a coupon for $0.35 off one.  If you buy three Colgate toothbrushes or toothpastes then you will get $3 off your next order coupon at checkout.

Shoprite Kix Cereal - MONEY MAKER

This week Shoprite has Kix Cereal on sale for$1.88.  There is a printable coupon on coupons.com for $0.75 off one box.  Shoprite is also offering a digital coupon for $0.75 off one box.  This makes your savings $2.25 off one box.  Since it is on sale for $1.88 Shoprite will give you $0.37 toward the remainder of your groceries.  Remember this will only work for one box.  Any additional boxes purchased with the coupon will be $0.38 a box.

This weeks Target has the Oral B Professional Rechargeable Toothbrush on sale for $39.99.  There is a $10 mail in rebate for this toothbrush from the Sunday insert about a month ago.  This makes your toothbrush only $29.99.

Recipe of the Week - Taco Casserole

This is a favorite in our house especially because my picky eaters claim they do not like tacos yet love taco casserole! 

Taco Casserole

1 pound ground beef 

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can diced green chiles

1 box elbow macaroni

1 package of taco seasoning

1 bag of shredded cheese

1. Set oven to 375.  Begin to brown hamburger on stove.

2. While browning beef bring, cook pasta.

3.  Once beef is browned put diced tomatoes, green chiles and taco seasoning in with the beef and stir.  Turn heat to low and let simmer.

4.  Once pasta is done cooking, strain in the sink and pour pasta back into pot.  Then add the beef and vegetable mixture to the pasta and stir.  Finally add about 1 cup of shredded cheese to the mixture and stir.

5.  Pour the complete mixture into an oven safe bowl and top with shredded cheese.  Cook for about 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted.

This is so yummy and easy to make.  One pound of beef costs about $7.  The chopped green chiles are on sale this week at Stop and Shop for $1.50 a can.  The Taco Seasoning is also on sale this week at Stop and Shop for $0.69 a packet.  Both of these products are Ortega Brand and there is a $0.50 off any two Ortega products from the Sunday insert few weeks ago.  This makes your chiles and taco seasoning only $1.19.  Sargento shredded cheese is on sale this week for $2 a bag.  The pasta is $0.20 a box from the Barilla sale in May, the diced tomatoes are $0.43 a can from the Del Monte sale in May.  Total this meal costs $10.82 and feeds a family of five easily.  A hearty, filling meal for $2.16 a person.

It's the 1st of the month which means new printable coupons are available.  Coupons.com has Yoplait yogurt, JIF peanut butter, Fisher Price, Jell-O, OFF!, Scotch tape, Nature valley, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks and more.  Remember to print your coupons twice from your home computer.

Stop and Shop Pampers Deal

This week Stop and Shop has a deal where if you buy $25 worth of P&G items then you get $5 off at checkout.  They have the Pampers Giant box for $34.99.  In yesterdays red plum mailbox insert there were baby coupons issued by Stop and Shop.  One of the coupons is $5 off the purchase of pampers diapers and wipes.  If you purchase the diapers and one small pack of wipes then you will get $5 off with the coupon and $5 off at checkout giving you $10 off your baby purchase.  If you are planning to make other P&G purchases make sure to do your diapers and wipes checkout separate so that you can get the $5 off deal more than once.

Recipe of the week - Breakfast Burritos

This week's best deal was $1 land O Lakes eggs at Stop and Shop.  Stop and Shop also had Chi Chi's tortillas on sale for 2 for $3 but with the $1 of two coupon they were just $1 a bag.  My son loves breakfast burritos and I love to make them for him because it clears out my fridge of leftovers.

Breakfast Burritos

1dozen eggs scrambled

diced tomatoes

diced green peppers

chopped cooked sausage or bacon or chicken

shredded cheese

 1 package of tortillas

In one pan, crack open your eggs and scramble them.  Always cook your eggs well to prevent salmonella.

In a second pan, toss green peppers, tomatoes, meat until warm.

Assemble burritos by laying tortilla flat then a layers of eggs, a layer of veggie and meat and finished off with a sprinkle of cheese.  Wrap up your burrito and enjoy.

Should feed 4-5 nicely for breakfast.

This is a great way to get a hearty breakfast and use up some leftovers from the week.  The main two ingredients 1 dozen eggs for $1 and one package of tortillas for $1 then add in the extra cost of leftovers for about $2.50 and you get a great breakfast for your family for only $4.50.

Stop and Shop Kelloggs Nut Crunch Cereal Deal

Stop and Shop has a deal right now until July 20th where if you buy one box of Kelloggs Nut Crunch cereal you will get a $2 off your nut order coupon at checkout.  There are $0.70 off one printable coupons at coupons.com and $0.50 off one printable coupons at Kelloggs.com.  Since this cereal is not on sale this week I would print off the coupons and wait for the item to go on sale, this will give you the best savings.  Remember you can print two coupons per computer.

Recipe of the Week - Pasta Alfredo

Since this week's best deal was on Barilla Pasta from Stop and Shop I decided to share an alfredo recipe. 

Alfredo Sauce

1/2 C Butter

8oz Cream Cheese

1 tsp minced garlic or 2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 C milk

1/2 C of grated parmesan cheese

1.  Cook butter and garlic together in a pan until butter is melted. 

2.  Add cream cheese and whisk until melted and creamy.

3.  Add milk in slowly until sauce is smooth.

4.  Add parmesan cheese and stir.  Remove from heat and toss with pasta.  

5.  Sauce will thicken quickly so be sure to toss with pasta immediately and do not over cook.

This recipe is a great easy sauce to to add vegetables and chicken.  I cook this up and toss in steamed broccoli and grilled chicken.  Yum!  This is a great recipe to capitalize on a few good deals this week.  Stop and Shop had Philadelphia Cream Cheese on sale 2 for $3 and Barilla Pasta $1 a box but with coupons you ended up with five boxes for $1.  The sauce will cost you $1.50 for cream cheese and the rest are pantry items.  Pasta will cost you $0.20 then add in a pound of chicken for around $5 and some broccoli for $1 and you have a complete meal for $7.70.  This should easily feed a family of five at $1.54 a person!

Stop and Shop French's Dijon Mustard

This week Stop and Shop has French's Dijon Mustard on sale for $1.99.  About a month age there were $0.75 off one coupons in the Sunday paper.  This coupon will double to $1.50 making your mustard only $0.49!

Recipe of the week - Broccoli Cheddar Frittata

Since this blog is all about saving money at the grocery store I thought it would be fun to put up a recipe every week that has a good amount of items from this week's circulars.  I hope you enjoy this new addition to the blog!
This week Eggland's Best Eggs were a steal at $0.99 a dozen with your coupon at A&P.  So here is a recipe that is all about eggs a frittata!  Thanks to some recipe browsing at Williams Sonoma I have adjusted their recipe for a Broccoli Cheddar Frittata.  I chose broccoli cheddar because broccoli is on sale at Shoprite for $0.99 a pound and Sargento shredded cheese is 4 for $10 at Stop and Shop or you can shred your own with a $1.99 block of Heluva Good Cheese from Shoprite.  If you buy two blocks then there is a $1 off coupon from a few weeks back. 

Broccoli Cheddar Frittata

1/2 lb of broccoli chopped

12 eggs lightly beaten

1 C of shredded sharp cheddar cheese

3/4 tsp of salt

1 tsp minced garlic

1/8 tsp red pepper flakes

Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees.  

Bring a small saucepan of water to a boil over high heat. Add the baby broccoli and cook until just tender, about 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, 1/2 cup of the cheese, the 3/4 tsp. salt and black pepper, to taste. Set aside.

In a deep saute pan over medium heat, warm 2 Tbs. of the olive oil.  Add the baby broccoli, garlic and red pepper flakes, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour in the egg mixture. Cook, using a rubber spatula to lift the cooked edges and allow the uncooked eggs to flow underneath, until the eggs are just beginning to set, about 8 minutes.

In a shallow saute pan over medium-low heat, warm the remaining 1 tsp. olive oil. Place the shallow pan upside down on top of the deep pan and flip the frittata into the shallow pan. Cook, covered, until the eggs are set, 7 to 8 minutes.  

Uncover the pan and sprinkle the frittata with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese.  Place frittata in an oven safe pan and place in the oven for about 1 minute or until cheese melts.

This frittata can have a meat (make sure it is cooked first) added to it or other vegetables or seasonings.  It is a great way to use up leftovers from the week.  This frittata would cost about $2.48 when you count the eggs for $0.99, the 1/2 pound of broccoli for $0.49, and the cup of cheese for $1.  A cheap yet filling meal for your family.

Target.com Printable Coupons

Target.com has a few manufacturer coupons available to print that can help save a few bucks at the local grocery store.  They have $1 off one Jimmy Dean Sausage Roll and $0.55 off one Hillshire Farms lunch meat.  Right now Stop and Shop has Jimmy Dean sausage on sale 2 for $7 but with two of the $1 off coupons you can get them for only $5.

Coupons.com Printable coupons

Back again on Coupons.com is the $0.75 off one Gold Peak Iced Tea.  These are great to have when stores put them on sale for $1.  The coupons double to actually make you $0.50 per coupon!  also available to print are coupons for OFF bug spray and Chef Boyardee.  Go check out the new coupons and remember to print your allotment of two per computer.

Shoprite Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil

This week Shoprite has Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil on sale for $2.99.  There is a coupon from a few weeks ago for $0.75 off one.  This coupon will double to $1.50 and make your aluminum foil $1.49.

This week Walgreens has Starbucks Refreshers on sale for $0.99.  At the beginning of the month there was a FREE coupon in the Moments to Save insert.  If you still have this coupon then you will get the Starbucks Refresher for free plus a $0.99 off your next order coupon at checkout making this deal a true moneymaker.  If you used your coupon then this product is still a great deal as they will give you a $0.99 coupon off your next order at checkout essentially making your drink free!

Shoprite Pantene Shampoo - UPDATED

So sorry but as I was going through my coupons I realized that there was an even better deal to be had on Pantene shampoo.  I hope you caught my mistake and didn't over pay for your shampoo, here is the updated deal.  This week Shoprite has Pantene Classic Shampoo and Conditioner on sale for $4.99 and any other variety for $5.77.  In this week's P&G insert there is a $3 off two coupon and two weeks ago there was a buy one get one free coupon in the P&G insert.  Shoprite is also offering a $5 off your next order coupon at checkout when you buy two Pantene products.  For classic shampoo and conditioner your deal is $4.99 for both with the buy one get one free coupon or $6.98 with the $3 off two coupon.  After getting your $5 off your next order coupon at checkout your deals are: FREE if you used a buy one get one free coupon or $1.98 for two Pantene classic products.

Starting Sunday Shoprite has certain Kelloggs cereal on sale for $1.99.  A few weeks ago there was a $0.70 off one Krave coupon in the Sunday paper.  On Shoprite.com there is a digital coupon for $0.70 off one box of Krave.  Using the digital coupon for $0.70 and the paper coupon (that doubles) to $1.40, Shoprite will give you $0.11 off the remainder of your groceries.  Remember this only works for one box.  Any additional boxes bought with just the paper coupon your deal will be $0.59 a box.

Shoprite Capri Sun Juice Boxes

Starting Sunday Shoprite has Capri Sun Juice Boxes on sale 2 for $4.  You must buy two boxes and there is a limit of four offers per checkout.  Last week there was a coupon for $0.75 off three boxes.  The best deal would be to buy six boxes and use two $0.75 off coupons that double to $1.50 each.  Making your total deal 6 for $9 or $1.50 a box.

Shoprite Kraft Milk Bars

Starting Sunday Shoprite has Kraft Milk Bars on sale for $2.99.  There is a printable coupon available at coupons.com for $0.75 off one box.  This makes each box $1.49.  These bars can be found next to the butter in the refrigerated sections of Shoprite.  They must be kept refrigerated at home.  My kids love them!

Starting Friday Stop and Shop has Aunt Jemima Frozen pancakes buy one get one free.  There was a $1 off two coupon in last Sunday's insert.  I believe the price of one box is $2.29 so your deal would be two boxes for $1.29 or $0.64 a box.  The price maybe a little different but the coupon will still work since you are technically buying two boxes even though one is already free.

Starting Friday A&P has a deal grouping Tostitos and 2L of Pepsi Next.  If you buy two Tostitos at 2 for $6 then you get a free 2L of Pepsi Next.  Now there is a $1 off two Tostitos and another coupon for $1 off two 2L of Pepsi Next.  So if you buy two bags of Tositos and two 2L of Pepsi Next you will spend $5.00 for the chips and you will get one bottle of Pepsi Next free and $1 of the second.

Shoprite P&G grouping deal

This week Shoprite has 3 grouping deals involving P&G items.  The Red grouping is not really worth while as other stores have better deals.  The White grouping is a little better and I would suggest trying it out if you have an interest in stocking up on Cover Girl cosmetics.  If you buy three participating Cover Girl cosmetics and use three $1 off coupons then you get a $5 off your next order coupon at checkout.  This is the cheapest way to take advantage of this deal but since the cosmetics are all different prices everyone's deal will be different.  The final grouping is the Blue Group and this is where the savings are the best.  First use your buy one get one free Pantene coupon from this past Sunday's insert.  This will get you two Pantene products for $3.88.  Next get three boxes of Crest multicare toothpaste and use three $0.20 off one coupons.  The toothpaste was already on a major sale 3 for $7.47 then add in your extra coupon savings and you get three toothpastes for $6.27.  The total would be $10.15 then you would receive a $3 off your next order coupon at checkout.  A great way to stock up on shampoo and toothpaste!

This week at Shoprite Nestle is running a deal on their products that will give you two $5 off your next purchase coupons if you spend $20.  This past Sunday's insert had a large number of Nestle brand coupons in it that correspond with their sale this week.  One good way to cash in on this deal is to simply stock up on water.  Right now you can buy 3 flats of nestle brand bottled water for $11.   There is a $1 of two flats which makes it 3 for $10.  If you want to stock up on water then buy 6 flats and use three $1 off coupons to make it 6 flats for $19 then buy a box off participating candy for $1 and you hit $20 on the nose.  At checkout you will receive two $5 off your next order coupons.  Of course you do not need to purchase all water and there are plenty of choices for the sale.  I personally bought 3 flats of water for $10, two bottles of chocolate syrup for $4 and two packs of drumsticks for $7.60.  Making my total $21.60.  Anyway you do it $10 free dollars towards groceries is always a win.

Another group deal from Stop and Shop has a list of participating products where if you buy 5 you get $3 at checkout.  Items in this grouping range from Diapers and Dog Food to Deodorant.  Check your insert or online to see all participating items.  Here is the best deal period for this deal.  If you have 3 Buy One Get One Free Lady Speed Stick or Men's Speed Stick then you will purchase 6 deodorants for $6.  Then you will get $3 back at checkout for a grand total of $3 or $0.50 a deodorant.  Enough deodorant to last you the rest of the year!

This week Shoprite has Yoplait yogurt on sale 10 for $6.  If you buy all 10 then they will give you $1 off.  There is also a digital coupon available for $0.40 off six.  There are coupons for $0.40 off six from the Sunday papers at the beginning of the month.  So if you buy 12 Yoplait yogurts your starting cost will be $7.20 then subtract $1 for buying ten and you are down to $6.20.  Next add in the digital coupon and you are at $5.80.  Take two paper coupons for $0.40 that will double to $0.80 each and your final cost will be $4.20 for 12 yogurts or $0.35 a cup!
